I know most of them are given, but I'm not as popular as Theo.
Anyway I'm going to try it: if you have old hardware which is not used, give it to me to set up my own cool lab. Just post a comment here and I will contact you. New hardware is also welcome

Getting old hardware for dirt cheap/free is easy. But paying for shipping is the expensive part most of the time.
(Hint: old UNIX-machines are very solid built, thick steel cages. Very heavy...)

I also figured that the old DARPA funding and governmental user might have come up in the interview?

The footage comes across very positive and makes OpenBSD sound
very secure and reliable even to those that do not have a clue why.
After all, if their university and hospitals are using it... :)

And from next week on we'll have thousands of users on misc@ asking "I dled the bootable CD but when I start it it hangs on a text screen saying
rootdev=0x1100 rrootdev=0x2f00 rawdev=0x2f02
erase ^?, werase ^W, kill ^U, intr ^C, status ^T
(I)nstall, (U)pgrade or (S)hell?
What do I have to do to get the mouse working?
;)

I'd use my OBSD with Firefox, but I don't have any plugins loaded.
Sounds like a great piece.

you shouldn't deserve an answer...
What about "mplayer obsd*.avi"? Sounds good, eh?

this should _really_ be added to the faq
maybe section "10 - System Management" - "How do I make system management even more enjoyable?"

Besides echoing another comment suggesting mplayer, I can tell you it worked fine for me with Windows XP and Media Player 10.

It's hard for me to tell because I was first introduced in 2002. Naturally I know it better, and my friends (the ones that care about computers) know it better because they hear me talking about it. I refer to people that I meet for the first time, and people on various boards like slashdot.
