First shipments of 4.6 arriving

Contributed by weerd on from the making-up-for-time-lost dept.

Apparently, the first CD sets are arriving around the globe. Dave Anderson posted the following short notice to misc@ :

From: Dave Anderson
To: misc@openbsd.org
Date: Fri, 2 Oct 2009 15:19:11 -0400 (EDT)
Subject: 4.6 arriving

The CD set showed up in today's mail (near Boston, Mass.)

        Dave

Also, Undeadly reader 'Kevin R' commented that he received his set in the mail. If you've received your set and have a camera at hand, please post pictures for the rest of the world to see!

The folks in Canada have been working around the clock to get this out the door at least near the initially announced release date of October 1st after the CD manufacturing delays. A big thank you to everyone involved for your efforts.

My CD set and t-shirt arrived yesterday. Didn't take me 30 minutes to remove Windows XP from my secondary computer and install OpenBSD 4.6.
