I just meant the genre isn't my taste.. more into a good 80's rock/metal band.
The point trying to be communicated in the lyrics are good, but should have been accompanied by a nice electric guitar solo.. ;-)
Less folksy.

late 70's/early 80's British ska.
I guess the reggae influence is why you think it's "ethnic" and
"folksy".
heh, a purely reggae release song could be hilarious, and sorta
fitting. lots of reggae songs are about the evils of "babylon"
and the benefits of being true to yourself.

Just watched Idiocracy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/) which reminds this quite a bit.
