pf2x v1.0.2 released

Contributed by Dengue on from the metrics-for-management dept.

Shane Lahey writes : "This release of pf2x produces more detailed output, mainly in MySQL, XML and PlainText output. Output now includes things such as individual TCPflags (syn,ack,rst,...), windowsize, checksum, etc. which are directly decoded from the tcpdump -xX output.

This program and sample outputs can be found at http://craz1.homelinux.com/jedmodes "

That link brings me to an anonymizer 404 error message. Is the page down or simply mistyped?

blame it on a crappy DNS at work i guess. I should seriously consider making my own since the guys who manage that can never get it right.

Here you go, PostgreSQL output has been added to the current CVS version of pf2x... it seems the INSERT statements from the MySQL output work perfectly for import into PostgreSQL ;)

      ** hope yer finally happy :) **

a sample PostgreSQL table can be found in the contrib/ folder ... if you have any problems please let me know because i do not use PostgreSQL mysql so I do not know much about it...
