While not as complete as the official FAQ, it does provide another resource for the community to use when searching for advice and documentation. If you feel you can contribute, by all means send in your assistance.

    I've long been looking for an mp3 playing howto, good to see it. :/

      cd /usr/ports/audio/xmms
      make install
      make distclean

      and then just run xmms.

      There are others too, of course (console based etc.), just look through /usr/ports/audio and install what you like.
