LSM Followup

Contributed by jose on from the how-do-you-spell-Bordeaux? dept.

OpenBSD was represented at the highly respected Libre Software Meeting which occured this past week in Bordeaux, France. Niels Provos gave a pair of presentations. The first was on systrace , which can provide host security via executable sandboxing. The second was on honeyd , a virtual honeypot toollkit he recently developed. Victor Vuillard introduced OpenBSD and the firewalling and VPN features in the base system.

Their slides are archived on the web now, for Provos's talk on systrace is here (slides in HTML) and his honeyd presentation is here (also in HTML) . Victor's slides are available here (mirrored on my website) . Niels also has his pictures on his website .
