BSDi Java announcement

BSDi has announced Java 2 Standard Edition version 1.2 for BSD platforms. A version is currently available for BSDi 4.1, and support for FreeBSD is planned for the future.

With their recent purchase of Telenet Systems , and their merger with Walnut Creek and the FreeBSD project , BSDi is shaping up to be our newest 800lb gorilla.

    At least, according to a random commentator on
    #FreeBSD. *sigh*. At least x86 users can get
    a JVM through binary-emulation.
