Yes, You Too Can Be An Evil Network Overlord - On The Cheap With OpenBSD, pflow And nfsen

Contributed by jj on from the employ-peter-get-nsa dept.

"Have you ever wanted to know what's really going on in your network?", Peter Hansteen asks in his most recent coloumn, Yes, You Too Can Be An Evil Network Overlord - On The Cheap With OpenBSD, pflow And nfsen,. He goes on to explain how to use your OpenBSD tools (mostly in the base system, the rest available through one pkg_add invocation) to see the hidden life of your network.

It's all easier with OpenBSD, but with some variations the tools Peter mentions will work on any unixlike system.
