Hernan Costante writes in to announce BSDday Argentina 2009:
BSDday Argentina is a conference for users and developers on BSD based systems. The conference is for anyone developing, deploying and using systems based on FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, DragonFlyBSD and others *BSD.
BSDday Argentina is a technical conference and aims to collect the best technical papers and presentations available to ensure that the latest developments in our open source community are shared with the widest possible audience.
The event takes place on May 29-30 2009 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. More details are available at the conference website (for Spanish speakers only).

You have the registration open before the program?
BTW, the province is Capital Federal, and Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires is the City within said territory. I know I'm insufrible sometimes. :$

Buenos Aires, capital city of the Argentine Republic, officially referred to as the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires) or the Federal Capital.

Do you have any pieces of the program? An ideas of the kind of presentations you're expecting to get? I went and registered anyways, but I thought it amusing that I did register without knowing what to expect. That might talk a bit about the kind of public you get :p

You can't put Wikipedia ahead of a local. Hernan put Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (CABA, as we write it) in the Province field of the registration form. The proper name at the Province level Capital Federal. The City itself is called Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires. They can decide to call themselves as they want, within their constitutionally allowed powers, which is at the City level, not as a national territory level. This is complicated since the City uses almost all the national territory level (certain parts of the port and the railroads are still national territory, thou).
In any case is customary to put in the forms "Capital Federal" in the Province field and "CABA" in the City field. This has been largely discussed with the local notaries and that was the consensus.
