OpenCON 2007 Schedule Online

Contributed by jason on from the thatsa-lotsa-good-stuff-in-there-paisano dept.

Marc Balmer writes in to remind us that OpenCON 2007 is coming up soon.

OpenCON, the only conference dedicated to OpenBSD only, will take place on the first weekend of December in Venice, Italy.

Since a few days the schedule is online. It will be a very interesting conference with an attractive programme again.

And with the OpenSSH birthday party on Saturday it is the ideal occasion to directly talk to the many OpenBSD developers that are present in a relaxed athmosphere over a beer (or two, or, well, NaN...).

CU all in Venice!

There's an impressive array of speakers, tutorials, and talks at this year's event. Presentations on softraid(4), hoststated(8), BufferCache improvements, new SMP platforms, and scalability solutions are sure to be informational and entertaining. There's also an emphasis on desktop usability, with talks on using Gnome, the ongoing development of DRI support, and professional photography using OpenBSD. The event kicks off on Friday, November 30, with a series of tutorials. Don't miss it!

Please visit http://www.opencon.org/ for all the details.

We will use a very accurate radio clock to start the talks on schedule with micro second accuracy!

So, if they all start at 07:20, we know it's an MSF receiver. :-)
