issue where tedu was working on rthreads. What has become
out of it? (Interesting code study in varying assembly
languages, it is, definitively. I know I won't, ever,
touch powerpc, and still wonder why nobody uses gas' new
.intel_syntax noprefix mode on i386 and probably amd64.)
PS: Cool I can still post with lynx!

I read something about Sparc III CPUs.
Does this cover also the new SUN Sparc "Niagara" CPUs (wich base on Sparc III)?

No; there is no interest in sun4v support at the moment.

The UltraSPARC T1 cools very cool: 32 threads and hypervisor support.

What for? There is no SMP support for sparc64 yet. Using one thread of one core kinda makes it pointless.

You are talking to Miod... the only SMP he considers is on the 88k platform.
