broadcasting video

"I have been searching for a software to broadcasting video on a lan or vpn. I found Videolan program but it doesn't works on my openbsd box. Anyone knows other software for this?"
I have never been able to get my OpenBSD systems to do video well. What's the trick?

    i read somewhere it works on FreeBSD but i don't test it on OpenBSD. maybe
