Two recent articles found on ONLamp , the network from O'Reilly, are worth reading for OpenBSD users. The first discusses the fstat(1) command. The recent Big Scary Daemons discusses how to use fstat. While the demonstrations are on FreeBSD The second article is from the author of O'Reilly's armadillo book . Æleen Frisch introduces a new series on essentials from open source for system administration. This month's installment covers the amanda backup tool , available in the ports tree.
