New Embedded OpenBSD released

Jyhad Yanoff writes : "There are some people at emBSD who have just released version 1.0 of emBSD, a stripped down version of OpenBSD that runs on compact flash cards. They are just getting everything up and running, but are happy to help and very knowledgable."

    I hope to see some more Real Time features in emBSD and other processor support

    Only that will make big diffence!

    I wonder if there will be an ARM port (there should be enough code to thieve from NetBSD)?

    ARM cores are dirt cheap and in need of a decent OS at the moment (other than vxWorks which costs a fortune). Nice work whoever did this.

    Is the purpose of EmBSD just to provide the community with a stripped down version of OpenBSD? Cause a few months back there was an article in SysAdmin magazine that highlighted and gave instructions on how to install OpenBSD on small hard drives/flash cards.
