"More patches in 3.2 stable on 1 Feb (don't seem to be particularly security related):While none of them are major security fixes, they were reliability fixes which warranted tagging into 3.2-stable. A few people wrote to ask what these were about after seeing them in their CVS updates in the -stable tree. Nothing major, but worth noting for some people. Special thanks to the developers who keep the -stable tree up and running.P libexec/ftpd/ftpd.c (CVS checkin)
P sys/netinet/ip_icmp.c (CVS checkin)
P sys/netinet/tcp_timer.c (CVS checkin) "
UPDATE : Fixed the ip_icmp.c link to reflect what was pulled into -stable.

Fix an ICMP mbuf leak.
[Applied to Stable]
So I guess that would be it.

cat ip_icmp.c > /boot/vmlinuz
But don't blame me if your system takes a little longer than normal to boot.

thanks for the tip.
I tried that, it does indeed take longer to boot. It's 20 min now and I am still waiting, that's not bad because I rarely reboot.
I use RedHat and I hope this makes it really secure.
I will let you know how it went in a few minutes one the graphical login shows up (it's really cute, linux is great!).
Thanks again,

I am still waiting for the login screen, though. You guys are great!
Going to reboot now on the RedHat computer.
Again, thanks to everybody. First time on this website. It's super, really geeky.

Otherwise I would recommend looking at this really good documentation:

I think OpenBSD should be rated on its own merits, not on ***extremely*** tired "0P3NBSD K1CK5 LUNIX ASS!!!" jokes.

Actually, it sounded a but (to me) that the OP was just having a bit of fun -- at MicroBSD's expense. It was all just a little too obvious.

Didn't you know?
The MicroBSD team travelled back in time and gave the original UNIX code to Bell Labs in the first place.
